Who doesn't love meatballs? Tiny fingers will have an easy time gripping these, and if you happen to have a few extras, the rest of the famly can enjoy them with tomato sauce and pasta.

Makes about 30 half-inch balls
Prep time: 20 minutes
Total time: 40 minutes

1/2 lb ground chicken, beef, pork or turkey
1 egg yolk
1/3 cup rolled oats
2 tsp parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp dried basil

1. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, mix ground meat, egg yolk, oats, cheese and basil to combine.
2. Roll very small meatballs (1/2" diameter) and place on an ungreased baking sheet.
3. Bake at 350°F for 15-20 minutes or sauté in a skillet until cooked through. Cool on paper towels.
4. When cool, use immediately or wrap and freeze.
