3 medium avocados, preferably Haas*
1/2 medium tomato, finely diced
1 1/2 tablespoons minced onion
1 1/2 teaspoons minced fresh chili pepper
1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoons salt

Halve the avocados and remove the pits. Use a spoon to scoop out the pulp and place it in a bowl.
Add the tomato, onion, chili, lemon juice, and salt. Mash with a fork until the avocado is mostly
smooth with a few lumps here and there.|
