Makes about 1 1/2 cups or 24 tablespoons
    Prep time: 10 minutes
    Total time: 20 minutes

    1. In a microwave-safe dish, place the salmon in the orange juice approximately 2-3 minutes or until cooked (the meat should flake easily).
    2. Steam the carrots in a small amount of water until tender (about 20 minutes) or microwave in 1 to 2 tablespoons of water for 8 to 10 minutes.
    3. Drain the carrots, mix with the butter and milk, and mash well, either by hand or with a blender or food processor.
    4. Flake the fish into small pieces with a fork. Blend the fish mixture with the mashed carrots.
    5. Divide the mixture into 1- to 2-tablespoon portions, and use immediately or freeze.
