Always on the lookout for growers who share our passion for produce, we traveled up the North Fork of Long Island to learn about Satur Farms' sustainable agriculture and to see their rows and rows of meticulously managed crops.

As a chef at premier Manhattan restaurants such as Lutèce and Le Bernardin, Eberhard Müller dreamed of produce that would meet his exacting standards.
He and his wife, Paulette Satur, began Satur Farms as a way to supply vegetables and herbs to his own restaurant, but they quickly discovered that other top-level chefs were clamoring for their harvest.
Meeting with great success, Paulette and Eberhard soon expanded Satur Farms' initial 20 acres to more than 200, and to help meet the year-round demand, Satur Farms' winter production expanded to crops on their Florida farm.
