A Panettone is a sweet Italian yeasted cake that hails from Milan, in northern Italy. Our traditional panettone from Vergani is dotted with candied lemon, orange, and raisins. Try this delicious treat alongside a cup of coffee or a glass of rum after a festive holiday meal. Vergani started in 1944 in Milan, the birthplace of Panettone. Four generations later, they still craft their baked goods in Milan itself — they are in fact the only large producer to remain in the city. They use only fresh ingredients and carefully sourced specialties: candied orange from Calabria, almonds from Bari, honey from Tuscany. You'll taste the difference! (from Vergani)
