Watsonia Farms Organic Cherry Plums

Cherry plums are petite with a golden-red color and round shape that makes it easy to mistake them for a true cherry. They've got a flavor that's all their own, however: when fully ripe, they balance sweet and tart with a warm spicy finish. They're brought to us by Watsonia Farms, an organic family farm that has existed in South Carolina for more than 100 years. Plan ahead! Our plums arrive firm. They'll soften in 3-5 days at room temperature, or you can speed up the process by storing them in a paper bag. When your plums yield to gentle pressure, they're ready.
