Maradol Papaya

Blessed with a wonderfully soft and juicy texture, maradol papayas have a succulently sweet, slightly floral flavor that sings in smoothies and fruit salads. Its pinky-red flesh is as beautiful to behold as it is tantalizing to taste, and although we love them alone, adding a touch of lemon or lime juice really makes the flavor pop. Add chunks to ice cream or try wrapping them in slices of prosciutto as an alternative to melon.
