Our Springs

There’s more to spring water than meets the eye. Behind every bottle of Poland Spring® Brand 100% Natural Spring Water is a team of Natural Resource Managers and geologists who monitor the springs and surrounding habitats for sustainability.

We’re incredibly proud of our quality and sustainability efforts. In fact, that’s how our bottled spring water tastes so fresh—and why the Poland Spring® brand has been around for more than 170 years. We hope to keep that greatness going for centuries to come.

Our Bottles

As a water company that relies on nature, we have a responsibility to take action and protect it. MadeBetter™ is our pledge to a healthy planet. Addressing plastic pollution is an urgent priority for us. One action we’re taking is to change what our bottles are made of. Using recycled plastic helps keep plastic out of oceans and landfills. That’s why since 1994, we’ve reduced the amount of plastic used in our half-liter bottles by over 60%. And that’s just the start. By 2022, we’ve pledged to use 100% recycled plastic across our still water portfolio*, starting with the 1-liter size. So that every bottle that’s recycled has a chance to become a new bottle. Over and over again.

*Bottles under 1-gallon size will be made with 100% recycled plastic; labels and caps are not, though they are recyclable.
