This recipe from our friends at Haven’s Kitchen features their tangy barbecue sauce, which brightens up the rich flavor of roasted salmon. It’s accompanied by a chunky tomato and avocado salsa to add a touch of freshness.
Putting it together is super simple: just coat the salmon in the sauce and let it roast and meanwhile, you can chop up and mix together the veggies. We recommend it for a simple weeknight meal when you’re craving flavors that are cheery, vibrant, and zesty!
Haven’s Kitchen Barbecue Salmon Recipe
What You’ll Need:
One 2 lb. skinless salmon fillet
Half a pouch of Haven’s Kitchen Tangy BBQ Sauce, plus more for drizzling
3 avocados, diced
1 pint cherry tomatoes, quartered
1 small red onion, chopped
A handful of chopped cilantro
1–2 minced jalapeños (to taste)
Juice of 2 limes
1/2 teaspoon salt
What To Do:
Preheat the oven to 275 F. Let salmon fillet rest at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Pour a glug of olive oil into a baking dish to coat. Place salmon fillet inside the dish and rub all over with half a pouch of Haven’s Kitchen Tangy BBQ Sauce. Drizzle with more olive oil. Roast salmon in oven until a knife easily cuts through the middle, 35-40 minutes.
About 10 minutes before salmon is done, in a large bowl toss avocados, cherry tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, jalapeños, lime juice, and salt.
Drizzle more BBQ sauce over roasted salmon and top with salsa before serving.
