It’s no secret that Long Island is a food-lover’s paradise, home to farms, fisheries, and artisan goods makers in numbers dizzying for such a narrow stretch of land. Small businesses reign here, and at FreshDirect, we’ve cultivated personal relationships with many local producers who bring us their very best.

On principle, we believe in investing in local food ventures because this not only contributes to a more sustainable food system and upholds independent businesses, but also because food simply tastes better when it’s made locally. So it’s truly fortunate that FreshDirect is able to draw from this network and connect our customers to impassioned producers and goods that arrive at the peak of freshness.
In addition to being deeply connected to Long Island’s artisans and purveyors, FreshDirect is embedded in its towns and communities. We offer seasonal grocery delivery to the Hamptons, Montauk, North Fork, and Shelter Island, so its easy to enjoy the best of the region while you’re spending time out east. We also have 2-hour alcohol delivery from FreshDirect Wines & Spirits for when it’s time to kick back and relax. For more information on seasonal delivery, head to the Delivery Info page on our website.
FreshDirect’s Long Island partners are an integral part of our offerings and we want our customers to know why they’re so special. Read on to learn more about these producers and find their one-of-a-kind items on our site.
