Just FreshDirect Organic Light Agave Nectar

Agave has recently become a popular sugar substitute, prized for its intense sweetness (a little goes a long way) but mellow flavor. Our organic agave is grown in the Mexican state of Jalisco, untouched by industrial pesticides or chemicals, and then carefully filtered using low-heat to produce an agave syrup that’s light in color with a milder taste. We love using this organic agave syrup as a subtle touch in dishes that only require a hint of sweetness, like salad dressings or fizzy beverages. Light agave syrup is also great at perking up not-quite-ripe fresh fruit.
