Quicke's Mature Clothbound Cheddar, 12 Month

The Quicke family have been farming in South West England since the 1540s. They make one of the only naturally aged clothbound cheddars in the world by hand only using milk from their 600 strong herd of grass-fed cows. Their flagship Mature Cheddar is slowly aged for 12 months, allowing for a long lasting, complex flavor that ranges from rich and buttery to grassy and brothy with notes of horseradish against the rind. Please note: Animal rennet is used to make this cheese, and due to the way in which this cheese is aged it may have a little discoloration towards the rind — this is not damage and will not impact on the flavor or quality of the cheese.
