Grossvatu, or grandfather in Swiss-German, refers to the age profile of the natural Raclette produced by Jumi Cheese. Aged for an extra three months compared to their flavored Raclettes, this version is anything but plain. The additional aging time allows the cheese to further develop its profile, with more pronounced notes of that classic Alpine garlicky, onion flavor. Though older, the cheese remains ridiculously creamy, luscious, and melts superbly with almost no fat separation.
