Muscadine Grapes

Sold out
Muscadines are sweeter and softer than your average grape: one bite and you'll be hooked. These deep purple fruits are native to the southeastern US, but little-known elsewhere. Whether you prefer to leave their thick skins on or peel them off is a matter of personal taste, although that's where the highest concentration of fiber is. You can eat them fresh (just make sure to spit out the seeds) or cook them into sauces, preserves, and baked goods.
