Great Gun Oysters

Great Gun Oyster Co is raising some of the best-tasting oysters on Long Island. Their oysters have a sharp brine up front that leads to a sweet, buttery finish. Working with marine scientists from Stony Brook University, Great Gun is on the cutting edge of integrating oyster farming with kelp farming, not only diversifying crops, but also contributing greatly to the sustainability and health of estuaries around their farm in Moriches Bay, along the Fire Island National Seashore.
