Little Gun Oysters

Located in Moriches Bay along Fire Island National Seashore, Great Gun Shellfish is raising some of the best tasting oysters on Long Island. The Little Gun is a cocktail size oyster that starts with a sharp brine upfront leading to a sweet buttery flavor to follow. Working with marine scientist from Stony Brook University, Great Gun Shellfish is also on the cutting edge of integrating oyster farming with kelp farming, not only diversifying crops, but contributing greatly to the sustainability and health of Long Islands estuaries.
