To celebrate their 200th anniversary, Guinness have released a variety pack that stout lovers have only been able to dream about. Containing three bottles each of their Original, Foreign Extra, Antwerpen, and 200th Anniversary stouts, there is a literally a stout for every occasion. Guinness Original: Dark ruby red with a frothy head. Subtle fruity with roasted notes of coffee and dark chocolate. Crisp and balanced with bitter, sweet, roasted notes, and dry finish. Antwerpen: Very complex and rich, strong alcohol hit initially, with toffee sweetness, butterscotch and malty, biscuit-y notes followed by raisins and a smoky and roasted finish. Foreign Extra Stout: Abundant flavor with surprising smoothness. Bursting with notes of espresso, dark chocolate, sweet toffee, earthy tobacco, and lots of roast-y malt character. 200th Anniversary: Deep and dark with a frothy head.
