Established in 1982, the Montinore vineyards use Biodynamic and organic practices, crafting estate-grown wines in Oregon's Willamette Valley. Sourced from their estate vineyard in the Tualatin Hills AVA and Tidalstar Vineyard in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, Montinore's Red Cap Pinot Noir is a beautiful reflection of the diverse terroir in the Williamette Valley. Initial aromas of red currant, glacé cherry and tomato lead into notes of freshly tilled earth, tobacco and pencil shavings. The palate is soft and approachable, with beautifully integrated tannins, surprising density, and distinct acidity highlighting flavors of marionberry, black raspberry, and cocoa powder.
