Hami Melon

The Hami melon originated in northwestern China, where it's much celebrated. On the outside, it's oblong with a yellow-green skin, while on the inside the flesh is nicely firm and juicy with an orange color. The taste is reminiscent of a cantaloupe, but packs a distinctive sweetness, making it an exceptional choice for eating fresh on its own or within fruit salads.
