Viking Village has been a mainstay on Long Beach Island since 1920, located at the foot of the Barnegat Lighthouse. It's home to over 40 independently-owned fishermen who have been supplying FreshDirect with local dayboat scallops and swordfish for over ten years.
Founded in 1954 in Cape May, Lund's Fisheries is a family-run business with a focus on building and maintaining long-term relationships with both customers and suppliers. LOCAL 130 SEAFOOD
Named for the 130 miles of New Jersey coastline, Local 130 Seafood works with small coastal communities in New York and New Jersey to bring customers the best in locally caught seafood. The Local 130 Seafood staff takes inspiration from childhood memories of eating steamers on the boardwalk and enjoying lobster by the bay. Ahh, bliss!
Mushroom King grows high-quality, more flavorful shiitake and oyster mushrooms on 50 acres in Manalapan, NJ. This family-run farm uses techniques borrowed from Asia to produce mushrooms that retain more nutrients with minimal impact on the environment.
Famous for its Korean pears which grow up and over low rows of trellises that stretch across the acreage, Evergreen Farm is owned by Chong Il Kim, and his wife, Sun Yi. Kim grew up on his father's orchard in Korea, and came to the U.S. to fulfill his dream of bringing the fruits he loved to new markets.
MEADOWS & MORE
Tama Matsuoka Wong literally forages through the wild to discover the freshest, specialty picks. Tama started Meadows and More on 28 acres at the rural border of NJ and PA to supply wild and foraged plants to restaurants and food companies all over New York and New Jersey, including us—so we can deliver her best goods, straight to you.
Radicle Farm grows fresh, flavorful greens and combines them into a variety of unique lettuce mixes - all in New Jersey and upstate New York. Available all year round, their seasonal picks are always changing, and incredibly delicious.
BLUE MOON ACRES
Blue Moon Acres started in 1992 as a small backyard operation, when owners Jim and Kathy Lyons wanted to pursue a more sustainable form of agriculture. Today, Blue Moon Acres grows their chef-acclaimed (and our favorite) produce on 63 acres of agriculturally-preserved land in Pennington, New Jersey.
Edible Garden produce is locally and sustainably grown in New Jersey using hydroponic farming methods without the use of pesticides or herbicides. Their delicious produce is delivered to us "live" with its roots systems intact, to maximize flavor, nutrition, and freshness.
