About our packaging: Our premium vacuum packaging combines the convenience of a tray with the freshness-enhancing qualities of vacuum-sealed plastics. Although the meat looks duller and less attractive than that in standard packaging, it's actually much, much fresher. That's because the bright red color often associated with beef results from the presence of oxygen, which is what accelerates spoilage.
