Garlicky toum grilled cheese
Toum, the Lebanese garlic dip, goes with just about anything savory, but we especially recommend it in grilled cheese. Here's our method: Take 2 slices of bread and spread some toum on one side. Between the slices place 3 oz sliced cheese and some butter pickle rounds (about 6). Spread more toum on the outsides of the sandwich, if you like. Heat a nonstick pan over medium-low. Add the sandwich and toast on both sides until golden brown and cheese is melted.
