Château Loumelat is a deep garnet colored wine with an intense fruity nose with blackcurrant and blackberry dominating as well as toasted oak and spicy vanilla notes due to vinification in French oak barrels. A well-balanced wine that combines complexity, roundness and tannic structure. To be enjoyed with all kind of meats (knuckle of pork, roasted poultry), and perfumed cheeses like Crottins de Chavignol or other goat cheeses. (from the vintner)
